Philadelphia Eagles (2-3) at New York Giants (1-4): The defending champs still have a deep and talented defensive line.  New York’s offense finally came to life last week, but Philly’s defensive line will be a problem.  The Giants’ offensive line does not run block well.  This has prevented the Giants from feeding the ball to Saquon Barkley and letting him be the centerpiece of the offense.  Carson Wentz is over his knee injury and his mobility keeps drives going. Philly knows they can win at MetLife and do so again.

Eagles 23- Giants 21.

Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) at Dallas Cowboys (2-3): The Jag’s top pass defense takes on a Dallas passing attack that is sputtering.  Jacksonville limits Ezekiel Elliott on the ground and dares Dak Prescott to beat them with his arm.  Prescott can’t beat Jacksonville’s very talented secondary deep.  His assortment of screens and short passes are stopped for minimal gains.  Dallas has to hope that Blake Bortles has a poor game or this could get ugly.

Jacksonville 23- Dallas 10.

Kansas City Chiefs (5-0) at New England Patriots (3-2): The Chiefs won in New England last season and will not be intimidated at Gillette Stadium.  Kareem Hunt led the way, but this year it’s Patrick Mahomes at quarterback instead of Alex Smith.  Mahomes is a serious MVP candidate at this point.  His rocket arm has proven to be very accurate and his decision-making has been excellent.  This game should be a shoot-out as both offenses are outstanding and much better than the defenses.  Mahomes is also very athletic and his mobility could be the difference.  The Chiefs continue to roll as they edge the Patriots in a barn-burner.

Kansas City 35- New England 33.
