Reacting To Andre Smith’s Workout Numbers Print E-mail

Here are some excerpts from that 3.12.09 blog entry:

I guess we should not look for the Andre Smith workout DVD in stores this fall.  It is also clear that he has no future as a bodybuilder, powerlifter or as a sprinter.  I really do not care that Smith was unimpressive on the bench press, vertical jump and in the Forty.  What I wanted to see was that his weight was under control (325 lbs. is fine for him) and that he had endurance and did not tire easily.....

Do you realize that future NFL Hall of Famer, Warren Sapp, bench- pressed 225 pounds 16 times when he was tested!  He also had a pretty big gut and man-boobs, rather than ripped, Rambo-like pecs.  Sapp was an awesome defensive lineman because he had tremendous quickness, agility and lower body power.  Andre Smith is the best run-blocking offensive lineman in the 2009 NFL Draft because.....for the remainder of the article, please check out our blog @ www.profootballdraftnetwork.com/wordpress
